Book Reviews for the Jigsaw Method

Vicky Sherrard - CEO Honour Your Flow

Open your mind to a new possibility and suspend your current belief". This is what the book urges us to do as it explains how and why to introduce balance into our diet. It is well written, with just the right amount of science to explain without baffling. Alison Marsden seems to read our mind, offering reassurance and answering questions, just in the moment they occur to us!

I highly recommend the book for anyone wanting to get rid of digestive issues, anything from mild bloating to full on crippling pain. It is clear in explaining how and why to make changes, it offers recipes as well as case studies. I thought I knew a thing or two about diet (as someone with long term auto-immune issues), but I learned loads from this book - useful stuff which I will implement into my every day diet. For me, this was what time of day is best to eat proteins vs. carbs. I already feel better, and I've only just started!

A lot of books get written about health and diet, and I have read a lot of them (lol), but this is so clear and kindly written, it's as if she is holding our hand as we go through the experience. Lots of times we get excited about a new way of doing something, but then give up, because it is too demanding or we can't see how to work it into our lives. Not so with this book! Alison Marsden really understands the process in our minds as well as our bodies, and, like I say, she holds our hand as we go through it, never asking too much of us.

I really want to recommend this book to everyone I know with bloating (loads of friends) and Chrohns Disease, and people who just want to eat in an optimal way.
I highly recommend the book

Great job, Alison, on creating a book that's so easy to follow and read—no complicated explanations. The success stories are both helpful and inspiring. I love that I can refer to it whenever I need to. It’s packed with information but doesn’t feel overwhelming, you can access what you need.

I thoroughly recommend Alison's book which allows us to get a bit of a handle on really how our bodies work, how to understand cravings and why we eat. Also it it helps get rid of conflicting advice we see all around us and focuses on what's in our best interest.
